PLEASE JOIN US IN THIS WONDERFUL CAUSE:
Several years ago we took in our first rescue
Golden, Spirit, who quickly won the hearts of all who met her. It started a journey that I would like to invite you
all to take a part in.
Show
your love and concern for these beautiful animals.
We're doing a fundraiser calendar that will
be printed for 2011 and mailed out to all those who send in their favorite Golden picture and a check made out to "Patricia
Hess" for $30. The proceeds will go to those Goldens less fortunate than ours at one of the two local rescues:
GRRI of NJ or Delaware Valley Golden Retriever rescue. A letter will accompany the donation detailing all
the names of the people and families who so generously contributed.
So, send me your favorite pictures. I'll collect all the entries all year long and
put together the calendar in October to mail out in November. They make excellent Christmas and holiday gifts.
The folks that have participated in the past gave me great feedback on how much they loved the calendar.
The
deadline for all photo entries is October 1, 2010.
And, yes, we found Spirit a wonderful, new "forever" home:) To all
who had the pleasure of meeting her and are asking how she is doing - she has that beautiful Golden smile now and is very
content and happy with her new life and family.
A big THANK YOU in advance to all of you who are supportive of this effort and are going to
participate in our 2010 Bella Pups Golden Rescue Calendar fundraiser.
Finally, you don't have to
submit a picture to purchase a calendar. If you just want to support our project, thanks, and just mail in your
check and return address information and a 2011 calendar will be mailed out to you in November, 2010.
